This is an excellent book to help people relate to the effects of Christianity from both sides. The author paints a picture of her personal experience with the deep emotional feelings of love and devotion to Jesus and then she methodically entwines the red flags that occur during her infatuation before she comes forward with her realization of the truth. As a male, I never could understand what the issue was with me and women because of the very thing the author talks about. And I could see the benefit of the way she wrote the book to help a female reader identify what she may be going through. This was definitely a wonderful read. I felt her ups and downs from the start to the finish. To the author, I sincerely thank you for writing this as it has helped me answer questions that I have had for the past few years concerning relationships as well as the primary purpose to let the reader know of the trap of Jesus Christ. I feel closers to you as well as more understanding of my sisters. Peace and love to you!!!

This book was one of the hardest reads for me to put down! It captivated me from the beginning, as it resonated with my own journey to find the truth I have been yearning for. As I read the Author's story, I found myself consistently recalling thoughts, ideas and events that I had questioned, but conveniently tucked away so as not to be deemed one who is "stirring up the flock" and could continue to be seen as a "good sheep". As one who has walked in the Office of a Prophetess in the church, I found the book and the Author to be a peaceful haven for me to grow and dwell as I journey to find out the truth for myself. I love her for her strength and willingness to write a book that contains such thought provoking information that so many are searching for! May all that are seeking answers in the journey of truth find their way to this book!!!!!!

I enjoyed this book so much. It was well written. The author's story will be a great help to those who may be struggling with leaving Christianity and inspiring to others, like myself, who have already awakened.

This book should be on the book lists of all of those who seek a behind-the-scenes perspective on how some churches operate. The author was not only a member of the church, she was a personal assistant to a high profile pastor and wife and also became an ordained minister, which gave her direct access to the nuts and bolts of church operations.

This book is a page turner, and once I started reading it, I used every spare moment to complete it. Like most of those who were raised in the church, the author was led down the road of religious indoctrination before she even knew what religion was. Thankfully, she found her way out and lived to pen the story. Her story should give those seeking their way out of the religious matrix cause for pause and make them question those things that are so easy to justify or overlook when one is a part of the flock.

I will be reading this story again, in order to have the knowledge gleaned from it fresh on my mental palate to share with those teetering on the edge of the religious cliff. I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to pass what I learned on to those who may be too afraid to read the book for themselves, for fear of "questioning their faith".

Empress T's Divorcing Jesus has helped bring closure in several areas of my life that were left unaddressed in my life. Having been raised in the church, I too had many questions and sought answers wherever the facts chose to lead me. It was a difficult transition, but having read this book, I feel even more confident in my individual spirituality. What courage. Such honesty. This is truly a gift for generations to come. This book is a great mind opener for both christians as well as non-christians because most christians would be able to relate to and learn from her unbiased experience and non-christians can gain understanding and be more gentle and empathetic when helping a christian out of spiritual bondage."

This is a well written book. I could not stop reading. I love books that keep my attention and this was one of them. I loved how the author made comparisons of her situation with a twist allowing its reader to view certain beliefs and practices in a unfamiliar way which allows for the reader to become aware of the bigger picture. This book is a testimony of the authors life when she was a chrisitan. She reveals the good and the bad of her experience leading into her breaking free of the beleif. This book gives insight to understand how deep some women can get into into the Chrisitan beleif and may be unpossible to pull them from the delusion if they are unable to be open minded and step out of the box and analysis and view the belief for what it really is.
